White iPhone 4 Spotted in New York; It’s Not is Stores Yet, Find out Why

A white iPhone was spotted at a New York event. When did that hit the stores? Before your rush to grab yours, we would do well to tell you it has not. Here are the details exclusively available with Pocket-Lint who confirmed the owner of the phone was not an Apple employee, but had a friend working at One Infinite Loop – that’s Apple’s HQ in Cupertino. And he also mentioned the Apple HQ was apparently flooded with white iPhones. So, why aren’t they selling? We all know they would sell like hot cakes considering how much they are being sought after.

Well, the owner of the phone is reported to have revealed to Pocket-Lint that the white on the home button apparently did not match with the white on the front face plate. The report said:
“Apple is having trouble getting its two suppliers in the Far East to match the white used in the manufacturing of the parts. The white home button colour doesn’t match the white front face plate colour, it turns out.
Apple being the perfectionist that it is, isn’t happy with this and therefore isn’t happy to sell it to the general public, supposedly.”
That sounds like a believable story. So, till the time Apple is able to reach a perfect shade, the white iPhone will continue to elude consumers.
